We are a local collective dedicated to building a vibrant Orange County chess community right here in San Clemente. Whether you are joining us from Dana Point, Laguna Niguel, or San Juan Capistrano, all players are welcome.
Please bring a board and clock if you have them. We have extras, but bringing your own helps ensure everyone plays.
No entry fee. However, we highly prefer that you support our hosts at Avila’s by buying food or a drink.
We are an adult-focused social group. We don't check IDs, but the environment is adult-oriented.
All levels are welcome! If you want to learn, there are usually players happy to teach you the basics.
